The garden was designed by John Williams from Eco Designs and it was a pleasure to work with him on this project. This is a kind of glass that is clear with a layer of colour on one side, which we have sandblasted to create stars in the night sky. This is a technique we have used in other projects but we think creates a fantastic effect! The window features two big sunflowers comprised of some beautiful streaky glass. As you can see, there is a brown glass border which acts as a frame, enhanced by the wispiness of the glass, mimicking a wood grain effect.<br /><br />Our client left us a glowing review:<br />&ldquo;Brilliant, very helpful from the start, sent photos on emails of colours and designs. Decided to visit the workshop and had a very productive visit. The finished window is even better than we expected. This process required many layers of kiln fired glass paints, starting with the line work followed by layers of shading and finished off with some silver stain to add the yellow hue. Once three terraced houses, it became a pub in the late 19th century and still boasts its beautiful multi-room layout, original bench seating, and stunning glasswork that tells the story of its past.<br /><br />Our team recently carried out onsite repairs to the pub&rsquo;s stained glass and restored a mirror with over 150 years of history, what a privilege to help preserve such treasured features.
