Today we have been working at The Crown Inn, Stockport, the charming historic pub nestled underneath the mighty Stockport Viaduct. Once three terraced houses, it became a pub in the late 19th century and still boasts its beautiful multi-room layout, original bench seating, and stunning glasswork that tells the story of its past. Our team recently carried out onsite repairs to the pub’s stained glass and restored a mirror with over 150 years of history, what a privilege to help preserve such treasured features. The new owners have been hard at work renovating ahead of their reopening this Friday, and we’re delighted they’re so pleased with our craftsmanship. Last year, we had the joy of working with a Stockport Primary School to create stained glass windows featuring famous local landmarks, look closely and you’ll even spot The Crown Inn in the design!
