Decide which window or door you would like your new stained glass to be made for.
Carefully measure the opening. The most accurate way to measure the opening is to use a steel tape measure. You should measure the size including the rebate where the glass fits into the frame. Measure the width first and then the height. The size will need to be reduced to allow a small clearance all round the stained glass panel or triple glazed unit, depending on the type of frame. A deduction of 5mm for timber frames and 10mm for uPVC frames is standard but please discuss with us before confirming the glass size when ordering. The size you state on your order is the size we will make and supply so be very sure of your sizes. |
